American Heart Association (AHA) Classes
This class is for Healthcare Providers who have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and are registered with AHA. This is a video driven format that reviews CPR skills, AED, bag mask technique rescue breathing and how to relieve choking. Participants practice skills along with video and instructor assistance.

Skills testing and a written test are required for a certification card. If your certification has expired, you may take the written test once. For a test score less than 85, you will need to take the Healthcare Providers initial class.

Student to instructor ratio: 6:1

Class fee: $55.00

Approximate class length: 3 to 4 hours

Certification is good for two years.

 

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charges for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
