Medication and Pre-Medication Administration Training (MAT and PMAT)
MAT is a strict curriculum mandated by the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) which covers all the routes of medications that childcare providers can administer. The class covers in detail how to manage and collect the information for the state forms. Participants practice the written forms and how to give all the medications. The class is video driven.
In the traditional MAT class, participants are with the instructor for the entire class and the instructor provides the handouts.
Please review the MAT Training checklist prior to class.Click here to view the checklist.
