This class is designed for professionals who are required by their employer to have a certification card. Example includes nurses, physicians, medical or nursing assistants, emergency medical technicians, dentists, dental assistants, physical and occupational therapists.

Description:

This class covers the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. You will learn to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and how to relieve choking (foreign-body airway obstruction.) The skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and stroke, and how to respond to them. CPR Pro is an instructor-led class using video components. Training is tailored to meet participants’ skill levels. This is a Basic Life Support class.

Approximate class length: 3 to 4 hours

Skills test and a written exam are required to pass the course.

Certification cards are issued the day of the class and are good for two years.
